10,000 Subscribers

On 1 AUGUST 2016, I hit 10,000 subscribers. It’s frequently said that the first 1,000 subs are the most difficult, and that’s very true. The first thousand took 7 months. It took an additional 5 months to hit 5,000 subs, and then it took 4 months to hit 10,000 subscribers. This was over 1 year of work on the channel but unfortunately I do not know how many videos or views my channel had at this time.

5,000 Subscribers

24 APR 2016 is the date I hit 5,000 subscribers. This screen shat is quite a bit more interesting than the last milestone because this also includes the number of videos uploaded and the total number of channel video views.

This means that it took me over 100 videos to hit 5,000 subscribers. I understand that there are other creators who spent 100 videos to get 90 subs or 1,000 subscribers, but this is how long it took me to hit 5,000 subscribers and 600k views. Just under a year of regular review videos and 100+ videos.

I am uploading this years after this, but I wanted to upload the moment and commemorate the date I hit specific subscriber mile stones. On 7 DECEMBER 2015, I hit 1,000 subscribers. This was after I started uploading in May 2015.
