Neumann KM 184 Condenser Mic Review / Test

Today I review an industry standard small diaphragm condenser, the Neumann KM184. This is well regarded for acoustic instruments, but I really enjoyed it for spoken word, singing, and acoustic guitar. It offers more of a neutral and smooth sound signature, so if you're looking for a hyper detailed modern sounding mic, this will not offer you that. But if you're looking for a more natural and realistic sound, I think it's a great option to consider.

BSP-320: YouTube Shorts Revenue Share, How Much I Earn From Affiliate Links, & More

On episode 320 of the BSP I discuss the Made on YouTube announcement where they discuss new criteria for joining YouTube Partner Program, new monetization possibilities for shorts, and the ability to license music for your videos. I also talk YouTube placing too many midrolls, ad breaks on TV vs. Online Video, and how much I earn from Affiliate Marketing.

Correction: While uploading my podcast, my monetization upload defaults came up. I apparently not only omit mid-roll ads, but also do not have non-skippable adverts engaged on this channel.

How Important is Anti-Magnetism for Watches?

I haven't seen any videos measuring the magnetism of every day items to see if they can damage a wrist watch, so I decided to make it. I measure items I use every day with a DC Gaussmeter which measure up to 799 gauss to see if an antimagnetic watch is really essential in 2022.

Mojave MA-D Dynamic Mic Review / Test

Today I review the first dynamic mic from Mojave, the MA-D. This mic gives a very bright sound, but it handles that upper end very well. It also has a slightly pulled back midsection and a slight exageration in the bass and low mids which yields a V-shaped sound. As far as handheld dynamics go, it doesn't sound like any of the 17 other mics I compare it against.

My Everyday Carry 2022 (EDC)

It's labor day so I wanted to take it a little easier, and being that I like E.D.C. or Everyday Carry, I figured I'd update my EDC on this channel. After all, the last time I uploaded this type of video on this channel was 5 years ago. This is not an audio related video it's about what I use on a daily basis and why I use each item.
