GENIUS LINK INTERVIEW: https://geniuslink.com/blog/bandrew-scott/
If you don’t know what Genius link is, it’s a service that allows you to link to multiple affiliate accounts through one link to make it easier on your audience. Well Teresa from GL asked me a few questions and I jumped at the opportunity to share it all in terms of my approach to youtube.
Had to post this milestone because it’s what I do. Still can’t believe the channel has over 1,000 subscribers, let alone 250,000 subscribers. Huge thank you to each and everyone of you.
We hit 250,000 subscribers on Podcastage on 12 APR 2021.
Today I share my experience with the Seiko SPB143 (I call it the SPB149 in the video, but it’s the 143 Grey Dial). This is a $1200 dive watch from Seiko with the 6R35 movement which offers +25/-15 seconds/day and 70 hours power reserve. The finishing on this watch is excellent and the lume is extremely impressive, however the bracelet is pretty underwhelming.

It’s been a while since I made a video on Bandrew Plays, and I just did a cover of “What’s the Matter With Parents Today” by NOFX which is one of my favorite songs of theirs off the album Pump Up The Valuum. I used the Sony C100 for this cover.
Today we’re looking at a watch from Amazon…that’s right, Amazon now makes watches! This is their Unisex easy to read version, and it costs $21. It has no lume, it has no light, it has high polish hands that are somewhat hard to read, it has only 30m of water resistance, and it doesn’t feel very good. But it’s affordable.

Today we look at one of the best everyday watches out there, the Sinn 556a. This is a 38.5mm tool watch with a matte black dial, 3,6,9,12 arabics, and a tiny date window between 4&5. The movement is an SW200-1, beats at 28,800 BPH, has a signed screw down crown, antimagnetic to 1,000 gauss, water resistance to 200M, antireflective coating, sapphire crystal, and a display caseback. It does everything it needs to do and nothing that it doesn’t.

I was fortunate enough to be a guest on On the Subject to discuss X-Files from 1998. We talk about a lot of stuff and the x-files for a little bit as well. OTS is a podcast of the Geeks Rising podcast network that you should check out and if you want to go check out https://www.geeksrising.com/onthesubject
Today we’re looking at the Baby Alpinist, the Seiko SPB159 which is a 38mm variant of the Sarb017 with an updated movement from the 6R15 to the 6R35 which adds 20 hours to the power reserve totaling 70 hours. We also have a domed sapphire crystal, 200M water resistance, a screw down crown, and a display casebook.
